Chapter 4 – Text 36
अपि चेदसि पापेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यःपापकृतम
सर्वं ज्ञानप्लवेनैव वृजिनं संतरिष्यसि
Even if you are considered to be the most sinful of all sinners, when you are in the boat of transcendental knowledge, you will be able to cross over the ocean of miseries.
Chapter 4 – Text 37
ज्ञानाग्निः सर्वकर्माणि भस्मसात्कुरुते तथा
As the blazing fire turns firewood to ashes, O Arjun, so does the fire of knowledge burn to ashes all reactions to material activities.
Chapter 5 – Text 10
ब्रह्मण्याधाय कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा करोति यः
लिप्यते न स पापेन पद्मपत्रमिवाम्भसा
One who performs their duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme God, is not affected by sinful action, just as the lotus leaf is untouched by water.
Chapter 9 – Text 30
अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक
साधुरेव स मन्तव्यः सम्यग्व्यवसितो हि सः
Even if one commits the most abominable actions, if they are engaged in devotional service, they are to be considered saintly because they are completely situated.
Chapter 10 – Text 3
यो मामजमनादीं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम
असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
The one who knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the Supreme Lord of all the worlds – they, undeluded among others, are freed from all sins.
Chapter 14 – Text 6
तत्र सत्वं निर्मलत्वात्प्रकाशकमनामयम
सुखसङ्गेन बध्नाति ज्ञानसङ्गेन चानघ
O sinless one, the mode of goodness, being purer than the others, is illuminating and it frees one from all sinful reactions. Those situated in that mode, develop knowledge, but they become conditioned by the concept of happiness.
Chapter 18 – Text 66
सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं वज्र
अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear.
