The third day of Sharadiya Navratri is dedicated to Maa Chandraghanta

Significance: She is known as Chandraghanta or Chandra-Khanda because of the semi-circular moon (Chandra) that appears like a bell (Ghanta) on her forehead.  As she is ever ready to fight battles, similarly she is quick to remove all obstacles and misfortunes of her devotees.

Colour: Imbibe the colour Royal Blue on this day to celebrate the sense of trust, worthiness, and reliability.

Mantra:

Translation: May that Durga Devi, who rides on Tiger, who is endowed with intense anger and violence and is renowned by the name of Maa Chandraghanta, bestow her grace on me.
