Dealing with Uncontrolled Mind - Texts from Bhagwad Gita

The texts from the Bhagwad Gita are curated to help deal with the feelings of an uncontrolled mind. The Sanskrit texts and their corresponding translations are given below.

Take time to read and understand their core meaning and message, and I hope this helps in elevating the issues with the uncontrolled mind.

Chapter 6 - Text 5

A person must elevate themselves by their own mind, not degrade themselves. The mind is a friend of the conditioned soul, and its enemy as well.

Chapter 6 - Text 6

For who has conquered the mind, it is the best of friends, but for the one who has failed to do so, their very mind will be their greatest enemy.

Chapter 6 - Text 26

From whatever and wherever the mind wanders due to its flickering and unsteady nature, one must certainly withdraw it and bring it back under the control of the Self.

Chapter 6 - Text 35

The Blessed Lord said: O mighty and strong son of Kunti, it is undoubtedly very difficult to curb the restless mind, but it is possible by constant practice and by detachment.
